FCA recently marked production of the one millionth TorqueFlite 845RE eight-speed automatic transmissions at its Kokomo transmission plant (KTP) in Indiana. Over US$860m was spent on the plant to accommodate production of the eight-speed transmission, which commenced in September 2012.
