Is Bengaluru ready for the mobility revolution?

The city scores high in terms of innovation momentum, but it will need to channel that carefully. By Megan Lampinen

Bengaluru's mobility evolution begins from a relatively low base level, but the overriding proactive environment could go far in realising a much cleaner, more efficient transport ecosystem. Air quality and road congestion are currently hampered by a combination of narrow roads, urban sprawl and a vast population of privately-owned two-wheelers. Add in high population density and limited land use, and it's a recipe for gridlock.
