Israel’s five lessons for potential mobility start-ups

EcoMotion in Tel Aviv could become for mobility what CES in Vegas is for the tech industry, writes Joel Hazan

In May, some 4,000 people, many of whom work for global automakers and suppliers, attended EcoMotion in Tel Aviv, an annual event where the future of automobiles and mobility is on parade. Start-ups and established companies mingled, made deals, formed partnerships, discussed breakthroughs and offered their visions for electric and autonomous vehicles, sensors, software and shared and new mobility services.
