Like the passenger car market, trucks and buses are taking advantage of new technologies, making the most of alternative powertrains to ensure that goods arrive in a way that is efficient, affordable and environmentally friendly.
Alessandro Bernardini, Head of Innovation, Truck and Bus, at Iveco, spoke at the Automotive Megatrends Europe 2014 connference about the topic of electric urban mobility, using examples of technologies that have been applied in the passenger market to outline what could be done to drive forward alternative powertrains, particularly those that use electrification.
