July MAUT data hints at year-end Europe truck sector weakening

With July MAUT data failing to live up to June’s performance, all eyes are on August and September for signs of an inevitable market weakening, writes Oliver Dixon

Germany’s Federal Office for Goods Transport (Bundesamt für Güterverkehr, BAG) publishes MAUT data to include all vehicles above 7.5 tonnes GVW (7,500 kg, 16,535 lbs) on a monthly basis.
