Toyota has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to locally assemble its Fortuner SUV. Assembly is scheduled to commence in spring 2014 at the plant of Saryarka AvtoProm (SAP) in Kostanay, Kazakhstan.
The OEM plans to assemble around 3,000 units of the Fortuner
