Market AEB how you want, but make it standard – Euro NCAP

A recent report by Thatcham Research highlighted how automatic emergency braking (AEB) is becoming a popular feature for many makes and models, but the independent research body is concerned at the lack of ‘standard’ fitment.

According to the report, the majority of the most popular cars in the UK now offer five-star crash protection, but standard fitment of AEB is only available on half of them.
