Massive implications as UK fast-tracks ICE ban

Automakers selling in the UK must replace their entire offering with an electrified range within ten years, writes Megan Lampinen

The UK government is accelerating plans to phase out gasoline and diesel internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles in a bid to meet climate change targets. As of 2030, the market will no longer allow the sale of new gasoline- and diesel-only cars and vans. That's expected to create a wave of demand for electric vehicles (EVs).
