Looking at Mazda's lacklustre first-quarter earnings, we commented that its full-year earnings target looked a stretch. However, three months on and with a strong second-quarter performance under its belt, the company now looks set to exceed its prior targets so has boosted its full-year outlook—with about 80% of the boost attributable to more favourable exchange rates.
