Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are rapidly becoming common across the passenger vehicle sector. This is mostly evident in high-end models, where OEMs are splashing more cash to make driving increasingly convenient and safe. Mercedes-Benz, for example, has been expanding its use of ADAS as it looks to close in on the realisation of autonomous driving.
