Military EVs: from commercial sector to combat zone

Innovative powertrain technology developed in the commercial EV sector could provide several tactical advantages for military mobility. By Will Girling

Research firm MarketandMarkets forecasts that the military vehicle electrification sector will reach a value of US$15.1bn in 2027, up 331% from US$3.5bn in 2022. Given the rapid progress of electric vehicles (EVs) in the commercial market, both technologically and economically, this growth is hardly surprising.
