Mobileye to supply ‘first fully autonomous car’ by 2021

The supplier has secured contracts to supply level four autonomy to an OEM, with the wraps expected to come off in coming weeks. By Freddie Holmes

Mobileye has secured a contract to help introduce the first road-worthy fully autonomous car by around 2021. The OEM in question is yet to be named. Speaking at a conference in Chicago on 14 June, Ofer Maharshak, Chief Financial Officer of Mobileye, advised this is “probably going to be announced in the next couple of weeks.”
