Elon Musk doesn't sit still for long. When he isn't working on 'the world's best rocket' or crashed out in a sleeping bag on the floor of the Fremont plant he is laying plans for a clean energy powerhouse - one potentially worth US$1tr. In a surprise move the car manufacturer has made an offer to acquire solar provider SolarCity.
