Suzuki is pressing ahead with plans to resume vehicle production in Myanmar. Reuters reports that the company’s Chairman Osamu Suzuki told reporters on 11 November that it officially submitted a request to this effect to the Myanmar government.
The Chairman hopes to receive government approval for the project by March 2013.
