New tough tablet moves workshops to the digital age

Panasonic’s latest Toughpad will not only improve the dealership experience, but also optimise the production line, writes Freddie Holmes

Although Panasonic may not be one of the first names that comes to mind when considering automotive suppliers, the company is registering significant growth thanks to the rise of connectivity.

At a press event in Barcelona, the company unveiled its latest product offering in the automotive market, the FZ-A2 Toughpad. As a handheld tablet designed for use at production plants, R&D facilities and dealerships, the latest Toughpad offering has durability, ruggedness and connectivity in mind.
