NHTSA probes ineffective 2012 Chrysler airbag recall fix

A recent National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) investigation into a 2012 Chrysler recall has found that the OEM repaired only around 13% of the 745,000 Jeep SUVs impacted by the recall, bringing into question whether Chrysler’s attempt to fix an airbag-related problem was effective.
