The future of fuel cell vehicle (FCVs) technology in trucking applications looks markedly brighter in the wake of an announcement from Anheuser-Busch, the St. Louis, Missouri headquartered parent company of Budweiser beer.
In a press release confirming the company’s commitment to ordering up to 800 hydrogen-electric powered semi-trucks from Nikola Motors, Michel Doukeris, Chief Executive of Anheuser-Busch, said, “The transport industry is one that is ripe for innovative solutions and Nikola is leading the way with hydrogen-electric, zero-emission capabilities.
