OEM collaboration offers best means of stifling car hackers

A new study suggests OEMs must offer uniform resistance against cyber criminals to protect passengers and brand integrity. By Lee Monks

A key UN cybersecurity regulation (UN R155/156) comes into effect from July 2024. The regulation stipulates that every vehicle must be secured against cyber attacks during its lifecycle, from development and production to customer use.
