Platooning in the commercial vehicle (CV) sector provides different benefits, with several previous projects showing the potential for fuel savings and safety enhancements. However, these have all been restricted when it comes to the brands involved. A new, multi-brand platooning project has been established in Sweden. Called Sweden4Platooning, it will last for three years before finishing in December 2019.
