Personal mobility of tomorrow depends on security developed today

It's entirely conceivable that within our lifetime, in many parts of the world it could become illegal for people to actively drive cars. It’s not that people won’t get around in cars, but they will drive themselves. While it will probably never be illegal to own a car, for most people there won’t be any point when they have a digital assistant able summon a robo-taxi whenever they need a ride.

Unfortunately, in a world where too many people are inclined to use their skills for evil rather than good, we must take cyber security seriously to ensure this new mobility ecosystem does not turn into dystopia for everyone rather than just driving enthusiasts.
