Just outside the small town of Iracemápolis, in São Paulo, Brazil’s richest state, Mercedes-Benz recently pushed the button on the 26th car factory in its global production network. The event, which coincided with the OEM’s 60th anniversary of truck and bus production in Brazil, marked the company’s return to local car production.
