Renault outperforms in first-half

First-half results gave the company the confidence to maintain its full-year forecast of a recurring operating margin of 7.5% or higher, writes Jonathan Storey

Renault outperformed in H1 2024, as its recurring profitability reached a record level. It reported a 0.4% rise in group revenue for H1 2024. At constant exchange rates the improvement was 3.7% as group sales (new registrations) rose by 1.9% to 1.15 million units, though wholesales weakened due to destocking in the dealer network.
