Roborace to stimulate R&D through a racetrack merger of megatrends

A new racing series is bringing together two of the most influential automotive megatrends of the day - electrification and autonomous drive. While Formula E shone the spotlight on all-electric vehicles, Roborace goes one step further and removes the driver. The series, the product of a Formula E and Kinetik collaboration, will feature electric race cars with autonomous drive technology. The hour-long races will serve as an opening act to next season's all-electric Formula E events.
