Scania R&D zeroes in on autonomy, emissions

Scania may be cutting jobs and scaling back plans for its bus operations, but challenging market conditions haven't held back R&D. In fact, the OEM filed a record number of patent applications last year and is on target for another record this year. Automotive World spoke with Stina Sjögren Paulsson, Head of Scania’s Patent Department, on the top areas of interest and what to expect in terms of future investment.
