Skoda strategy adjustment – plus €2bn – to double China sales

Skoda's new business strategy for the rapidly maturing China market closely resembles the plan of attack outlined by GM just days ago. By Megan Lampinen

Skoda has laid out a wide-ranging investment plan for China, tapping into the most promising segments of a rapidly maturing market. The new plan of attack bears considerable resemblance to the business strategy that GM unveiled just days ago. Touching on today's hot topics of electromobility, SUVs, digitalisation and alternative mobility, the plan appears to tick all the boxes. And for Skoda's biggest market, it can't afford to scrimp on investment.
