Start-up to ‘solve’ driverless car challenges through AI

FiveAI has secured funding to accelerate its efforts in machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a view to get driverless vehicles roaming free. By Freddie Holmes

An artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) focused company is ramping up its efforts to bring fully autonomous vehicles to public roads. UK-based start-up FiveAI recently announced it had received an initial US$2.7m of equity funding, which will go toward the expansion of its team, step-up its development efforts and begin simulator and road testing of its software.
