Stellantis faces strikes in Italy amid weakened production

Stellantis’ efforts to drastically lower costs continue to accrue international backlash. By Stewart Burnett

On 24 September 2024, Italy’s largest metalworkers unions—FIM-CISL, UILM, and FIOM—announced planned industrial action against Stellantis and its local suppliers. For now, the plan is for a strike to take place on 18 October and last one day before work resumes as normal.
