Study shows changing relationship between OEMs and consumers

“Cars are becoming more software-oriented to create a digital revolution and transformation in the auto industry,” said Ozgur Tohumcu, speaking at Connected Car Detroit 2018, adding that “relationships are being redefined because of this.” Tohumcu, Chief Executive of Tantalum, noted in his presentation that the relationship between dealer and consumer has changed drastically with the progression of connectivity.
