We thought Suzuki's Q1 forecast of a full-year profit decline looked pessimistic, and following a strong set of results in Q2 the company has come round to our way of thinking, now anticipating a full-year operating profit increase. However, the forecast increase is entirely attributable to the strong first-half performance, with a double-digit decline expected in the second-half.
