Teamwork the key in the battle to improve road safety

Pedestrian airbags, pop-up bonnets and autonomous emergency braking (AEB) are just some of the technologies which have brought the automotive industry a step closer to reducing injury and the ultimate goal of eliminating road deaths. The 'Big Picture' session of Automotive World’s Megatrends Europe 2013 event looked at how industry players can reach that goal more quickly, and how safety in Europe compares to other regions of the world.
