Tech Mahindra targeting the ageing fleet for connectivity

Freddie Holmes learns how the Indian tech specialist plans to help an ageing fleet transfer from analogue to digital with telematics

Many new cars available to buy today are now connected - they can store and share data, surf the Internet and interact with other devices. However, there is still a large percentage of older vehicles on the road which are less tech intensive. Tech Mahindra is looking to bring telematics capabilities to end consumers with older vehicles in an effort to extend connectivity to the masses.

Lars Rau, Head of Automotive Competency, Europe, at Tech Mahindra, explained to Automotive World how the company plans to modernise these cars through its telematics solution, dubbed Automotive Suite.
