Tesla deliveries slide 13%, falls behind BEV market growth

Tesla reported a 13% decline in vehicle deliveries for Q1 2025, worse than many analysts were expecting. By Will Girling

The cumulative effect of declining demand for Tesla vehicles in several key markets was made clear on 2 April 2025, when the automaker released its Q1 2025 production and delivery report. Overall, it delivered a combined 323,800 Model 3s and Model Ys, as well 12,881 other vehicles (Model S, Model X, Cybertruck). This marks a 13% year-on-year decline.
