Plant engineering firm Durr has acquired iTAC Software, a German developer specialising in technology that will help Durr advance its Industry 4.0 strategy for automotive customers. iTAC is a leader in the field of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) software, which allows for the intelligent networking of machinery on production lines.
