Decisions in trucking are governed by regulation and economics, and it's no different when it comes to electrification. If the switch is legally required or a company cannot operate without going electric, then it will switch. If a switch to electric will save it money or boost its bottom line, then it will switch. Otherwise, don't hold your breath.
