What’s the first Smart City Challenge winner doing today?

Columbus, Ohio walked away with the US Department of Transportation's (DOT) first Smart City Challenge prize in 2016, securing US$40m in government funding to support its vision of the city of tomorrow. That vision, which it summed up as 'beautiful, healthy and prosperous for all of us', is slowly becoming reality though a host of Smart Columbus initiatives, starting with a reinvention of mobility.
