Wide disparity in charging networks exists in Europe and US

Before the transition to EVs can fully take hold, US and European automotive must address the accessibility issues associated with charging. By Ian Henry

Switching from fuelling cars at gas stations to plugging them in at home, in a public charging area, or out in the street is a major change for drivers the world over. Convenience and simplicity are key to making the switch easy and trouble-free, but there is a great deal of variation between countries in terms of public charger availability, the cost of charging, and related issues.
