With the ball in their forecourt, fuel suppliers prepare for the end of gasoline

With significant change afoot, now is the time for fuel suppliers to rethink their product portfolios. By Jack Hunsley

New mobility trends are already having a profound impact on consumer behaviour. The arrival of ride-sharing and ride-hailing businesses is allowing inner-city customers to abandon the personal vehicle; on-demand last-mile mobility options are opening the door to integrated, multi-modal transportation; and increased in-vehicle connectivity is allowing more effective navigation and ADAS assistance. However, while the future of mobility promises many benefits, not all stand to automatically gain from this progress.
