E/E architecture rejig could yield solid practical savings

The automotive industry’s transition to new centralised electrical/electronic (E/E) vehicle architectures is necessitated by desires to build software-driven connected, autonomous and electric vehicles. While rejigging E/E architectures is a huge undertaking, doing so could also save automakers and suppliers vast amounts of time, money and effort in the long run.
