On November 29, 2016, Arrizo 5, the first global strategic model under Chery’s Strategy 2.0, was launched in the UAE and Saudi Arabia simultaneously. The UAE and Saudi Arabia were the new legs of the global launch tour of Arrizo 5 after it was launched in Chile, China, Iran and Peru. Since its global launch in March 2016, Arrizo 5 has been recognized and trusted by the market for the outstanding quality and driving experience offered by it to global consumers. Over the past eight months since its launch, over 100,000 units have been sold.
The Arrizo 5 UAE Launch Conference was held at Chery Dubai Showroom. With “China red” as the main tone, the conference offered the visitors a dynamic experience of Chery brand. The executives of Chery’s UAE distributor – Al Habtoor Motors, journalists from about 30 local mainstream media outlets, as well as representatives of dealers and customers were present and witnessed the grand occasion. At the conference, Jagdish, CFO of Al Habtoor Motor and Chery’s sales manager delivered addresses, introducing Chery’s new model – Arrizo 5 and its Strategy 2.0 for overseas markets to customers. Mr. Sreekumar, General Manager of Chery Brand, Al Habtoor Motors, introduced Chery’s three new stores in the UAE in 2016, pledging to offer UAE consumers quality and valuable services under the guidance of Chery’s service concept of “Customer First”.
On the scene, mainstream media and consumers spoke highly of the appearance, powertrain, space and configuration of Arrizo 5. Through social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) popular with young consumers, Chery brought together online and offline consumers to witness the brilliance of Arrizo 5.
Meanwhile, Arrizo 5 Saudi Arabia Launch Conference was held during the popular Riyadh Motor Show in response to the launch conference in the UAE. Arrizo 5 became a focus of attention upon its appearance. Eng. Hathlool bin Saeed, Deputy Minister of Transport of Saudi Arabia, visited Chery’s booth. He spoke highly of the flexible appearance and rich intelligent configuration of Arrizo 5, bringing the atmosphere to a climax.

With the successful conclusion of the launch conferences in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, the launch tour of Arrizo 5 in the Middle East has opened. Afterwards Arrizo 5 will be launched successively in other Middle East countries like Oman and Bahrain.
