Ashland today announced it will increase prices for 1-4 butanediol (BDO) in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) by a minimum of 200 Euros per metric ton and prices for derivatives (including THF, NMP, BLO®, 2-Pyrol®) in EMEA by a minimum150 Euros per metric ton. These increases will take effect immediately or as contracts allow. This pricing action reflects evolving market conditions and will allow Ashland to continue to serve its customers with the premium level services they currently receive.
