- Sam Abuelsamid spent two decades in engineering before making the switch to automotive industry research and analysis. As an analyst, Sam develops research reports and recently authored the Navigant report ‘Automotive Cyber Security – Securing the Connected and Autonomous Mobility Ecosystem: Global Market Analysis and Forecasts’.
- Jonathan Allen is Principal at Booz Allen and the Acting Director of the Automotive Information Sharing and Analysis Center, or Auto-ISAC. Created by the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers and the Association of Global Automakers, this ISAC aims to enhance cyber security awareness and coordination across the global automotive industry.
- Henry Bzeih leads Kia’s US operations for Infotainment planning, manages the company’s Connected Car division and heads up Kia’s Autonomous Cars programme; he also sits on the board of the Auto-ISAC, and is perfectly positioned to outline the importance for OEMs to get their cyber security programme right first time. Henry will be the one of the Keynote speakers at Connected Car California, hosted by Automotive Megatrends in Santa Clara in April 2017.
- Chan D. Lieu is Senior Legislative Advisor at Venable LLP and a member of Venable’s Legislative and Government Affairs Group. He has significant experience in a broad range of policies involving the automotive industry, data and cybersecurity, privacy, Internet technologies and more.Prior to his appointment at Venable, he served as Director of Government Affairs, Policy and Strategic Planning at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
