Creates a new model for aftersales service
Shanghai GM has created a new model for aftersales service with the recent opening of its Buick Aftersales Flagship Store on Tmall.com. Buick owners can purchase parts and receive special offers under the Buick Care service brand. They can also make appointments for maintenance and repair service online.
Like a traditional showroom, the online store features a wide range of parts and accessories. After logging on to buickservice.tmall.com, customers can check out virtual shelves that show items along with detailed information about them. Payment can be made online. Customers will then receive a code via text message that they can present at a Buick 4S dealership to receive the parts and services they purchased.
The Buick Aftersales Flagship Store carries exclusive items and offers discounts and special offers, such as a discount of up to 80 percent on wipers and batteries. With the exclusive Fast Maintenance Service, customers are guaranteed service within 30 minutes if no other work is required on their vehicles. Should a customer have to wait more than 30 minutes, the car owner will be entitled to free service.
The Buick Aftersales Flagship Store is initially open to Shanghai-based Buick owners. It will be expanded across China as part of Buick’s “one-stop” e-commerce model. The brand already offers all of its models online.
