More than 240 projects supported since 2011
Launched in May 2011, the Foundation locally supports social, educational and cultural projects related to mobility, leveraging the input and involvement of Group employees.

Over the past three years, it has financed 244 projects.

As its core activity, the Foundation has chosen to focus on extensive initiatives to encourage socially responsible mobility:

  • By developing community mobility platforms, in particular through the MOUV’UP nationwide partnership formed with the French federation of road safety associations for education (FARE), which is deploying mobility services to facilitate social mainstreaming and employment opportunities for people who are vulnerable or isolated from the job market. A total of 20 such platforms have been or will be created across France in 2013 and 2014.
  • By supporting pilot inclusive mobility programmes designed to remove barriers to mobility arising from economic factors, cognitive impairments or address-based discrimination.

On being appointed Chairman of the PSA Peugeot Citroën Foundation – A World on the Move, Carlos Tavares said:

“Over the past three years, the PSA Peugeot Citroën Foundation has worked to make mobility a universal right. By locally supporting socially responsible mobility projects wherever we operate, the Foundation and our employees are demonstrating, every day, the values of respect, responsibility and engagement that we cherish across the Group. It is a great honour for me to lead this A World on the Move Foundation and I am committed to ensuring that its initiatives are pursued to impel the world towards an increasingly socially responsible and sustainable mobility.”
