Covestro at the VDI Plastics in Automotive Engineering conference – Reliable partner with new name
At this year’s VDI Plastics in Automotive Engineering conference on March 9 and 10 in Mannheim, Germany, the former Bayer MaterialScience is appearing for the first time under its new name, Covestro. Covestro stands for innovative and sustainable material solutions to address increasing mobility worldwide, but also for continuity as a long-standing and reliable partner to the automotive industry and its suppliers. The company also has comprehensive expertise in the processing of polyurethanes and polycarbonates.
Covestro once again has a stand and is also contributing its expertise to the conference. Engelbert Meurer of the Polycarbonates Business Unit will be giving a presentation on thermoplastic crash absorbers made of polycarbonate-PBT blends on Day 2 of the conference.
Covestro joins VDI in inviting the conference participants to Automotive Night, which is being held at the “Manufaktur” restaurant in Mannheim the evening before the conference begins. The get-together offers a good opportunity to talk with other participants, speakers and exhibitors before the event begins.
