Debashis Mukherjee, Director – Corporate Technology Group at HARMAN India, has been confirmed as a speaker at Automotive Megatrends India.
In his role, Mukherjee is responsible for advanced research on key technology areas like Machine Learning, Smart Connectivity and Infotainment Systems solutions. India has emerged as a key contributor of innovation technologies for HARMAN globally, with the highest number of invention disclosures/ patent filings and is the fastest growing development center within the HARMAN family.
He comes with over 25 years of Industry experience, out of which 17 years were spent in research on Automotive Infotainment and related technologies. Prior to HARMAN, Mukherjee was the Chief Technologist for the Automotive Electronics Division of Wipro.
Previously, he has held leadership positions in Driver Information Systems group in Bosch and techno-managerial positions in BFL and BHEL.
Automotive Megatrends India is a two-day, multiple-stream conference focusing on commercial vehicles and passenger cars. Mukherjee will speak in the Connected Car track on Day 2. The event takes place on 2-3 December 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Pune.
