Royal DSM, a global science-based company active in health, nutrition and materials, today announces that its Business Group DSM Engineering Plastics, has moved its Americas headquarters to the nearby Columbia Center property in Troy, Michigan, from its previous location in Birmingham, Michigan.
This move, prompted by recent growth, creates an environment that will help to promote closer collaboration between DSM and its customers. The new office – located at 203 W. Big Beaver, Troy, MI 48084 – will showcase DSM’s products and services, while providing the space and tools needed to better support local demand and development.
DSM Engineering Plastics will occupy more than 31,000 square feet in this new space, which was converted by KIRCO MANIX from a fitness facility into world-class office space that uses sustainable design elements. The newly refurbished building also includes an Application Development Center where material testing, automotive plastics research, and technology development will take place.

Following the company’s mission of using Bright Science to create Brighter Living, the Application Development Center will help to ensure that the use of DSM materials is not only safe and superior in quality but also has a positive impact on people and the environment.
