FCA México reported sales of 7,605 units, a 5 percent sales increase; best May since 2013.

We also continue to strengthen our dealer network under the automotive mall concept, which is a sales floor where customers can find the product that best suits their needs.”
Alfa Romeo
Alfa Romeo sold 25 units. Alfa Romeo MiTo recorded its best May since its launch. Alfa Romeo Giulia and Alfa Romeo 4C, the maximum performance vehicles of the brand, continue their positive sales trends.
Last month, the all-new 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio was crowned “Car of Texas” and also took home honors for “Performance Sedan of Texas” and “Most Drives” at the Texas Auto Roundup hosted by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) at Circuit of The Americas (COTA).
Chrysler
Chrysler brand continued its positive results with 91 units sold. The brand’s flagship vehicle Chrysler 300 sold 37 units, achieving its best May since 2012. Chrysler Pacifica showed a sales increase of 27 percent versus the prior month.
Dodge
Dodge brand sales improved 4 percent versus May 2016, with 2,525 units; its best May since 2013. This results were led primarily by Dodge Attitude, which registered sales of 1,355 units; this vehicle offers best-in-class fuel efficiency in its segment. Dodge Neon sold 474 units; this car has the perfect balance between exterior design and interior spaces. Dodge Grand Caravan, the minivan that arrived in the country this year to position the Dodge brand as a benchmark in the people movers segment, increased its sales 18 percent versus April 2017.
FIAT
FIAT reached its best May ever with 1,047 units, a 52 percent sales increase versus May 2016. This new record was mainly due to Fiat Uno and Fiat Mobi, which sold 388 and 491 units, respectively; both recorded best May ever.
Jeep®
Jeep brand sales rose 17 percent with 1,129 units. Sales were led mainly by the Jeep Renegade, which in its first month sold 540 units; this compact SUV has attracted new customers due to its technology, design and performance. Jeep Grand Cherokee reported sales of 316 units.
Las month, the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee premium mid-size SUV became just the second gasoline-driven, American-made, American-brand vehicle to qualify for Japan’s Eco-Car tax break. The 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk was first.
Mitsubishi Motors
Mitsubishi Motors Mexico reported sales of 1,010 units. Mitsubishi Mirage sold 484 units, a 21 percent increase over prior year; best May in its history. Mitsubishi L200 sold 388 units and Mitsubishi Outlander recorded sales of 125 units.
Last month, Kelley Blue Book KBB.com named the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage one of its “10 Most Affordable New Cars of 2017” while 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander was named one of the “10 Most Affordable 3-Row Vehicles.”
Ram
Ram continued its strong sales performance by selling 1,778 units, a 1 increase compared to May 2016; best May ever. Ram 700 sold 717 units, continuing its streak for 26 consecutive months as the top leader of its segment. Another vehicle that continues to lead its segment is the Ram ProMaster Rapid, which sold 330 units, while Ram 4000 sales increased 9 percent versus May 2016.
