GAZ Group together with its local partner GAZKAR Automotive, unveiled its AWD model range at the specialized motor show in Madagascar (Salon de l’Auto). The central place of the exposition was occupied by the medium-duty drop-side dump truck Sadko and by GAZelle Business passenger van and panel van. All the vehicles presented at the show are adapted for use in off-road conditions.
GAZ Group presented its line up of the AWD vehicles at the specialized motor show in Madagascar The Madagascar motor show is the biggest event in the country, involving key players in the commercial and passenger markets. The event takes place once every two years in Antananarivo. Gaz Group has been selling commercial vehicles in Madagascar since 2016 through the company GAZKAR Automotive, a local partner in sales and after-sales service.

– This is the first automobile show of GAZ vehicles in Madagascar. Here, together with our partner GAZKAR Automotive, we are displaying our line up of light commercial and medium-duty vehicles with the wheel formula 4 x 4. Due to its unique off-road features, the vehicles are ideal for exploitation in Madagascar where so far many settlements can be reached only through severe off-road terrain.
GAZ Group whose products are sold in more than 40 countries, has made a big leap in the export business over the past few months. In June 2017, the company signed an agreement with Al-Sultan on supplies of GAZelle Next vehicles to Jordan. In August, GAZ Group opened a subsidiary in Turkey and began manufacturing GAZelle Next panel cargo van and combi van. In September, the company signed a cooperation agreement with Philippine diversified business group Eastern Petroleum which obtained the right to distribution and after-sales service of GAZ light commercial vehicles in the Philippines. In the end of September, GAZ Group presented the Next family vehicles and buses at the annual international trade fair Expocruz 2017 in Bolivia, Latin America.
