GAZelle Next van won the annual national award the Vehicle of the year in Russia in the nominations Vans. The winners of the contest were chosen by electronic voting involving 972 000 people.
GAZelle Next panel van has won the Vehicle of the year in Russia award for the second year running in the nomination Vans. GAZ vehicles have won this prestigious contest for the fifth time.
Production of GAZelle Next at the Gorky automobile plant was launched in autumn 2015. The vehicle is currently produced in four main versions: cargo van (medium and long base) and cargo-passenger van (medium and long base). The vehicles are powered by three types of engines: diesel, petrol and gas-petrol. The main factors that influenced the choice of the customers were a combination of comfort with functionality, a rich base configuration with the lowest price in its class.
The volume of the cargo compartment space is 13,5 m3, which is 30% bigger than that of GAZelle from the previous generation. A hatch in the partition behind the passenger seat allows to carry long-size cargoes up to 5 m long. The tail doors can be fixed in two positions – at 90 degrees and 270 degrees when fully providing the carrier freedom of actions even in the limited space in the city. The modernized gearbox, the reinforced frame and rear suspension, double sided zinc coating of the metal panels of the body and the cabin ensure high level of comfort and reliability of the vehicle.
