Gorky Automobile Plant, Russia’s leading LCV manufacturer (part of GAZ Group) showcases it wide range of vehicles at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). Among the vehicles on display there is a GAZelle NEXT chassis with a single cab, GAZon NEXT and Sadko 4×4 MDT as well as GAZelle NEXT van-based and Citiline frame buses. The motor show takes place from 4th to 7th April, 2019 in the World Trade Center Metro Manila.
Gorky Automobile Plant presents its line of vehicles at the Manila International Auto Show. The company comes to the motor show with its partner – GazelleMotors Corp, a LCV distributor. The international motor show in Manila is an annual exhibition attracting automotive brands working in the Philippine market.

Following the agreement signed by GAZ Group and Eastern Petroleum in 2017 the automotive manufactures is exporting its multifunction GAZelle NEXT buses that fully meet the requirements of the national fleet renewal program. The program’s key goal is to completely revamp the country’s transport system to build it on reliable safe and comfortable buses meeting the tightest environmental standards.

GAZelle NEXT is an LCV family integrating outstanding functionality and state-of-the-art engineering solutions. GAZelle NEXT LCVs come with Cummins ISF 2.8L diesel engines. The engine displacement is 2.8 l, power output – 150 hp, torque – 330 Nm.

GAZelle Next chassis is presented in the standard version with a single-raw cab. The basic Next chassis allows installing over 300 superstructures for specialty vehicles depending on the business tasks. Exterior parts of GAZelle Next cab are fully coated with zinc and corrosion-resisting materials. The vehicle is packed with plastic mudwings. All joints and seals are protected with corrosion-resisting coating and special sealants.

GAZelle NEXT van buses can be used as route buses (with up to 17 passengers) as well as as corporate and tourist transport. They are designed to comfortably carry standing passengers. The van bus can be converted into a wide range of specialty buses, including city and school buses, buses for people with disabilities, executive-class and airport shuttle buses.

Citiline frame buses have a shorter chassis and a wider body. Despite its compact size, they can carry up to 19 passengers. The buses come with comfortable seats and handrails to allow passengers easily and safely move inside the bus. Citiline buses have larger glass areas.

The dual-zone climate control system with front and rear temperature controls for cabin cooling to sustain a comfortable temperature in GAZelle NEXT and Citiline buses during hot summer days. Sliding windows and the sunroof also provide the best natural ventilation performance.

GAZon NEXT is a next-generation medium-duty truck operating intercity and locally. It has a payload of 5t, and a gross weight of 8.7 t. The truck comes with pneumatic disc brakes on all wheels delivering best performance. The integral steering system offers excellent steering control and response with a reduced load to be applied to the steering wheel. The front suspension has longer springs, hydraulic telescopic shock absorbers and a stabilizer bar for smooth rides and excellent road stability when driving at high speeds. The cabin is made of zinc-coated steel with double primer, and mudwings and wheel arches – of highly impact-resistant plastic, which delivers excellent corrosion protection.

Superstructures can be easily installed on a GAZon NEXT chassis to convert it into various specialty vehicles, including a dump truck, a multi-purpose road vehicle, a food and fuel tank truck, a mobile repair shop and a reach stacker. GAZon NEXT is offered with two cabin versions: the standard one (three seats) and the crew one (to carry up to seven passengers); and with two wheelbase versions: the standard and the extended ones. The truck comes with a state-of-the-art fuel-efficient 150-h.p. YaMZ-534 engine and a 5-speed gearbox.

The 4×4 Sadko MDT is famous for its unique off-road performance. It is popular among mining and extraction companies, which operate in forests and rural areas as well as in deserts, jungles and mountains. The truck features a powerful diesel engine, a hydraulic power steering system, a comfortable 2-seat cabin with ergonomic controls, a tire pressure monitoring system and a hand winch.

Versatile superstructures are often installed on the Sadko chassis to use the vehicle for a wide range of operations and activities.
